معبد حتشبسوت بالدير البحري

هو معبد تخليد ذكرى الملكة حتشبسوت بالدير البحري. أطلق عليه المصريون القدماء “جسر جسرو آمون” أي قدس أقداس آمون. شيد المعبد المهندس “سننموت” بطراز مميز يتكون من ثلاث شرفات، ويشتهر المعبد بنقوشه التي تحكي عن الولادة المقدسة لحتشبسوت وبنوتها لآمون، بالإضافة إلى تفاصيل رحلتها الشهيرة إلى بلاد بونت. ملحق بالمعبد عدة مقاصير أهمها تلك المكرسة لحتحور وأنوبيس. تظهر نقوش المعبد بوضوح مظاهر العداء العائلي والديني من خلال التشويه المتعمد لصور حتشبسوت بواسطة تحتمس الثالث، وتشويه صور آمون من قبل كهنة آتون.
